The history of De Cesare Viaggi began in 1930, when Captain Nicola de Cesare, after years of sailing the open sea, decided to found a commercial business inspired by the sea and deeply linked to the development of the port of Salerno.

In a rapidly changing environment, he personally contributed to the rebirth and modernization of the port, promoting infrastructure and logistics projects that were crucial to local economic growth. The business gradually expanded into multiple sectors: from international shipping to transportation, from boarding to storage, until the emergence of the tourism sector, formalized in 1950 with the creation of De Cesare Viaggi.
